About the farm

Laugu Holiday Resort is a proud recipient of The Estonian Tourism Boards highest accolade, the Three Cornflower commendation.

The old farmhouse was built in 1926 and is full of history, as people have lived and worked here for centuries.

Laugu Holiday Resort offers rest and recreation in the romantic countryside just 450 metres from the sea. If you like, we can accompany you on fishing trips, berry or mushroom picking hikes and teach you to swim or ride a boat. We can help you in your search for heritage culture sites in the area and other sightseeings on the island. In any case we will organise you a great stay, that might start with refreshing breakfast and end with a relaxing time in our smoke or Saaremaa sauna.

The farm is truly a special place, like a small museum, with Saaremaa handicraft items, like carpets, cloths and pictures, everywere arount the resort. In addition, we have a separate exhibition of an old Saaremaa tools, used in the farm kitchen and farm field work. With any interest, there is a possibility to do even some farm work around the farm yourself.

We offer accommodation in the farmhouse through two floors for 10 people, separate small log house with a sauna for three people, apartments in barn for three people and rooms in a new big log house for two persons. More exclusive privacy seekers, up to 6 people, can enjoy their stay 300 meters away in Ala-Laugu Apartment. During the summer season is guarenteed accomodation for 33 guests and in the winter season for 22 guests.
